One Month Without Payouts

My payout on itch.io got stuck for almost a month, and at first I had no idea why. Turns out they were dealing with outside pressure and server issues from bots, which delayed things for a lot of creators.

It was stressful waiting, but happy to say the payout finally came through. I love itch.io, but it does make me wonder — should I keep releasing games on itch? Do you think this kind of issue could become permanent, or have you found better solutions as an indie?
